Our Winter Packages at Spur of the Moment Ranch is finally ready, enjoy special rates until April 20th, 2014. Our Stay A Little Longer Special was quite successful this Spring, Summer, and Fall; and here at the resort we are trying to extend that hospitality to you through the winter. Winter is a great time to embrace the season by Cross Country Skiing, snowshoeing,; ice fishing; snowmobiling; relaxing by the fire; or catching up on your reading or a good movie.
Don’t forget that now you can rent Cross Country Skis and Snowshoes at Lakewood Ski and Sport in Lakewood, WI. Dave Gryboski is the owner, store phone number is 715-276-3071. According to Dave Ski sales have been awesome this year, lots of people anticipating snow, so please make your reservation for skis or snowshoes before you get to Spur of the Moment Ranch. I do not want you to be disappointed. Just a note, Dave is doing shows through mid-December, store is closed at this time. Hopefully, the snow will wait just a bit to set in. Spur of the Moment Ranch will have maps available for the Lakewood Cross Country Ski Course which is a 22 kilometer course just 8 miles from us. The course is groomed; newly signed; new maps this year will be color coded. Loops will be marked beginning, intermediate, and advanced.
You can also rent snowmobiles in Mountain, approximately 3 miles from us at Mountain Sport and Repair http://www.mountainsportandrepairllc.com/rental-units.html. Again, please make your reservation for snowmobiles in advance. Again, I do not want you to be disappointed, and not be able to reserve one when you get here.
Our special is a great one this year, again encouraging you to stay a little longer. The first night is full price; 2nd night is 20% off; 3rd night is 30% off; 4th night is 40% off until the end of your stay or one week whichever comes first.
