This is a visual aid put out by the Department of Natural Resources as a guide to safety on our frozen lakes. Keep in mind that this weekend, beginning January 10 our area is due for warmer weather (high 30’s into the 40’s) and a signifigant chance of rain. Rain is very degrading to the ice, so be careful out there. Watch for changing conditions.
