Save the first Saturday of August if you are a craft fair junkee. The Lioness Club of Lakewood Wisconsin puts on a fabulous, and I mean FABULOUS craft fair on that day. Get up early, enjoy a great breakfast at one of the many morning restaurants in the area: Timberline in Lakewood Wisconsin always has a special on Saturdays; 4 Seasons of Lakewood, Wisconsin has great breakfasts and lots of space; Chute Inn in Mountain Wisconsin is a family style restaurant going back 2, nearly 3 decades providing folks with a nourishing breakfast to start off their day. Eat early, because you want to be at the craft fair when it opens at around 8:30. There are crafters from all over the midwest. I have bought many interesting items to decorate the ranch; and a few fun things for myself through the years. It is a fast and furious event, usually ends around 3:00 PM.

Better yet, make a weekend of it, come up on Friday, enjoy a Friday night fish fry at one of our many restaurants or bar and grills in the area. Let Spur of the Moment Ranch provide your lodging for the weekend. You might opt for bringing up an RV and staying in one of our campsites; cooking out over the open fire. Perhaps, you are better suited to a rustic camping cabins or one of our full housekeeping cabins. Check out our variety of options http://www.spurofthemomentranch.org/cabins/bunkhouse/ ; find something you like and check out availability online to see if it is open that weekend. After a long day of craft fair walking, sit by the campfire, relax and watch the stars. What a fun weekend. Plan on it!

The date is August 4, 2012 McCauslin Lioness Craft Fair in Lakewood, Wisconsin.
