Get Ready, get set, GO…..Oconto County has a couple of great ATV events running this summer. The first is a summer long Poker Run, it began May 1rst, and runs through September 28th. This Poker Run is open to the public, and you need not be on an ATV to participate. Books are available at Spur of the Moment Ranch, participation is $5, there is no limit on how many books you can purchase. Books must be turned in by 3:00 PM on September 28th, 2013. The party will be held at The Sportsman’s Club; 15526 County HWY W; Crooked Lake, WI at 11:00 AM. There will be food, free music, and raffles. Must be present to win. Drawings will start at 4:00 PM; top 10 hands pay out, you need not be present to win. For more information contact: Shelly Quick 920-469-7482.
The Spring Poker Run is a popular ATV event put on by Dusty Trails ATV Club http://www.dustytrailsatvclub.com/events/pokerruns.asp. Follow the link for more information. The Spring Poker Run is June 15th, a fun activity for Father’s Day Weekend, whether dad goes out with friends, or you make it a family activity. Spur of the Moment Ranch is a stop on the Poker Run and still has cabins and campsites available for the weekend. The Poker Run is followed by a party at Suring Community Park in the evening with raffles and refreshments. Check it out.
Don’t forget to get a new map when you come up to ATV in Oconto County. The trails now extend into Langlade County. Check it out, enjoy your stay in Oconto County, Wisconsin. Note: You do need to plan in advance for the weekend you are planning to come; they will deliver and pick up for a fee; ATV rental needs to be set up by the guest separately from the ranch rental.
